FDC fire damper. Used to insulate duct penetrations between fire compartments.
- Fire dampers consist of a body, a fire-resistant damper and a trigger mechanism.
- Galvanized sheet steel housing, flap made of special insulating material, flap shaft and pusher made of galvanized steel, brass bearings, seals made of polyurethane and elastomer.
- Air leakage through closed blades according to EN 1751, class 3.
- Enclosure tightness according to EN 1751, class C.
- The fire damper can be equipped with a thermal fuse with an operating temperature of 72°C or for warm air ventilation systems 95°C.
